Physical Description
Richard is a little over six feet tall with a fairly muscular build that comes from constant physical conditioning via mixed martial arts sparring with his fellow crew members. His blonde hair is cut to Starfleet regulation but he keeps a stubbly beard. Richard's eyes are well known to be the color of the clearest blue water and just as piercing. He is always known to keep a strict posture at all times, almost rigid. Marks always wears a freshly clean uniform to ever new duty change, and keeps himself well groomed aside from his beard.
Personality & Traits
General Overview
Richard is generally a straight forward individual, he sometimes speaks out even when not warranted. He enjoys a strong challenge, especially if it demands his fullest attention. It is not uncommon for Richard to sometimes sit at his desk for hours playing a game of ancient terran chess.
But Marks is also a calm and reserved man, knowing when to keep his head about him, but also knows when exactly to unleash his inner furies upon an opponent or challenge. Richard tries his best at times to remain silent at first when meeting new people, he likes to observe them and to sum them up intellectually as well as physically.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Marks uses his wits and intellectual cunning to out smart his opponent, yet he doesn't refrain at times to physical confrontations, enjoying now and then ancient terran forms of mixed martial arts.
His strengths can sometimes be his ultimate weaknesses. Sometimes his diligence lands him in the worst situations. His inability to stop once he begins a challenge lands him sometimes in more trouble than not. Richard doesn't just 'stop', he must either win, or be utterly defeated, and that is both his strength, and his number one weakness.
Ambitions
To date the only ambition that we are aware of that Richard has made apparent is his dream of one day becoming a member of the Admiralty.
Hobbies & Interests
Richard loves to play any form of ancient terran board games, enjoying chess and axis and allies. He is also and very avid reader of ancient terran fantasy novellas. Richard enjoys alot of his time on the various halo-decks, taking his aggressions out on various sparring partners in many different forms of ancient terran mixed martial art practices.

Terran standard, klingon, vulcan and some romulan.
History
Richard has never know his parents, being raised through an orphanage until the age of seventeen when he joined Starfleet Academy, all Richard knew where the strict ways of his humbling raising inside the orphanage.
Richard was only a mediocre student in SFA until his last year, when finally he was placed in the center seat, and excelled. Calm, cool, and collected, Richard used his intellectual cool to take on roles that even some experienced commanders could not. It was then that Richard knew his destiny, to become a captain of a ship.
Richard graduated from Starfleet Academy with only standard grades and accredidations.
